EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

If I have a flashback, it'll be your fault 😝
🤣HAHA! My favorite trippy knife if this Victorinox. The scales are actually from a "My first Victorinox" kids knife sold in the European market (I swapped them over to a Bantam). On the front, there are forest animals staring at a mushroom.

Then on the back, they're all rolling around on the ground and the mushroom is nowhere to be found 🤣

If ever a knife cried out for a fish shield. I don't believe I've ever seen that particular handle 🤔
When was that one made?

It was a limited slant bolster series in Rainbow Corelon. I bought it in 2021, but from my limited understanding of the stamp code it was maybe made in 2014??? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. The dealer still has some of the series but I didn't see any date of manufacture info on their site. I'm not sure if they're supporting, but they're named after an HBO series set in gold rush era South Dakota (best TV series of all time IMO).

(sorry for the blur on the stamp. That's 5 X's and just one dot left)

That Vic is too funny 😆

Your Case looks like a 2014 to me too
Thanks for the info :)

If you want to climb faster ...just get that kid a buggy whip ! :p

I have a little niece who is 8 (and tiny for 8) and a totally determined little mountain goat, took her up one of the hardest trails around here, legitimately a beast of a climb, and she kept up with me, complained about the others we were with being slow and having to wait for them to catch up, and at the top looked happy and fresh like she had barely started…she’s a total savage

That same day we asked her sister to come she looked at us like we were insane and when we got home she was still in her pyjamas lazing about…

Unfortunately i got the second type of kid, who would rather be carried or ride my shoulders everywhere and who is excited to come camping only because there will be marshmallows…

But positive side is it keeps me fitter having to carry her around!

Happy sunday guys, hope you're all having a good day. Got the Griptilian with aftermarket scales that are made of brown canvas micarta, black micarta bolsters, and a red/orange G10 liner separating them. Really well-made scales. I'd like to give credit to the maker, however I can't remember his name at the moment. He's from out of the country, Russia if I remember right.

And a picture of Lil Mamma and Big Man, my 2 crow friends that come here everyday to hangout and eat some birdseed and take a bath in the watering hole. It's pretty crazy, these same 2 crows have been coming to my house everyday for 2 years now. They took the winter off and didn't come around for like 5 months, and I'm now convinced that they recognized me when I was walking at the nature park down the street in the beginning of the spring, and everyday since they have been coming here again. There was actually a study at the University of Washington where they found that crows absolutely do remember human faces, and even more surprisingly, they appear to communicate to their family and friends which humans are kind and give out food, and which humans are annoying or present a danger, because crows that you've never interacted with will treat you differently depending on whether you're neutral, a friend, or a foe. Oh yeah, and crows are monogamous and tend to stay together for life.
