I have a Leuku with a handle like this one, and worry that my hand is gonna slip forward. What do the Finns do when using to guard against that? That handle material is called Karelian birch. Its been standard equipment on knives made in Finland and the surrounding area for centuries......

I'm not sure what you would be doing with this sort of knife that would cause your hand to slide forward.....I have a Leuku with a handle like this one, and worry that my hand is gonna slip forward. What do the Finns do when using to guard against that?
Thanks. Here is original purchase thread.Very well thought out…IMHO. You’ve got me very curious as to what the sheath looks like and what your thoughts are on it.
I gave my one and only Manix 2 to one of my sons a few weeks back. Miss it bad but am so happy that such a great Spydie went to a loved one. Those Malanika scales ???Please tell us what wood the handle scales are made of….Bog Oak, maybe ?
It really is a great knife I love mine with carbon fiber scalesStrangely the Sage 5 is growing on me more and more.
