Back from the beach so swapped out the Salt 2 with the Endela K390. I’m at home and a couple miles from the beach so the K390 should be safe.
Beautiful day at the beach saw a sweet Sail boat and Lincoln and much more eye candy 😆

After carrying one of my Millies yesterday I got the other three plus my two PM2's out last evening to fool around with and compare. I figured on carrying one from amongst those today, but after spending time rearranging my Spydie storage I ended up grabbing something from my BMK drawers instead.

Had a weekend getaway with my immediate family. It was the first time we'd done a trip as a family in a lot of years, and turned out to be a very good weekend. Spent a ton of time with my niece and nephew. Dad has a pretty serious case of cancer so this might have been the last trip we'll do as a full family (fortunately he's doing better than a couple months ago, but still on borrowed time at this point). Had my Sebenza along for the duration of the trip. Did switch to a Native 5 Salt for a while today as we were on the river and of course with the kids time in the water is mandatory, but didn't get a picture of it.

Beautiful memories now attached to that blade.....Keep em sharp!

Happy Father's Day!

I've got some wonderful knives in fancy material but this old production fixed blade in 14C28N remains a fierce competitor for belt time. It has a great overall size and shape. (Sure, I gave the handles a little ergonomic assistance around the edges.) An excellent sheath and belt attachment are major factors. It also leans into both the "tough beater" and "don't think twice about beating on it" categories.

Sick man! Looks like one of the MT Sparrows that got the mirrored stonewash flats. Super cool. Congrats.
Thank you man, yeah it's super cool! You just got me curious about the difference in it having mirrored stonewash flats. I just learned, and honestly didn't know, that there is no traditional OEM for this guy like most midtechs I see, where Bestech does most of it, or perhaps even Reate. He says "I have a buddy with a CNC that does the milling for me, then I do the rest". That's insane! I can definitely feel the difference in this one too. I was wondering how the action, lockup, and tuning is so perfect. I was wondering what company was capable of spending the time to tune something so perfect. This is really the only front flipper I've ever had that doesn't tear up my thumb at all, while still having super solid lockup and no horizontal play bladeplay at all with a super drop shut action. Super blessed to have this one.
