Had a weekend getaway with my immediate family. It was the first time we'd done a trip as a family in a lot of years, and turned out to be a very good weekend. Spent a ton of time with my niece and nephew. Dad has a pretty serious case of cancer so this might have been the last trip we'll do as a full family (fortunately he's doing better than a couple months ago, but still on borrowed time at this point). Had my Sebenza along for the duration of the trip. Did switch to a Native 5 Salt for a while today as we were on the river and of course with the kids time in the water is mandatory, but didn't get a picture of it.

Thank you man, yeah it's super cool! You just got me curious about the difference in it having mirrored stonewash flats. I just learned, and honestly didn't know, that there is no traditional OEM for this guy like most midtechs I see, where Bestech does most of it, or perhaps even Reate. He says "I have a buddy with a CNC that does the milling for me, then I do the rest". That's insane! I can definitely feel the difference in this one too. I was wondering how the action, lockup, and tuning is so perfect. I was wondering what company was capable of spending the time to tune something so perfect. This is really the only front flipper I've ever had that doesn't tear up my thumb at all, while still having super solid lockup and no horizontal play bladeplay at all with a super drop shut action. Super blessed to have this one.Sick man! Looks like one of the MT Sparrows that got the mirrored stonewash flats. Super cool. Congrats.
Sounds like a great weekend and a lot of memories. Keep those memories close.Had a weekend getaway with my immediate family.
