EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

In a couple of days it will be the Midsummer, which is one of the biggest holidays and the start of the summer vacation period for many here in Finland. These are the knives coming with me, food prep, eating, drinking in moderation, meeting friends, bathing in the sauna and partying being the main activities. Later in the summer there will be trekking and some camping, so then there will be changes in the equipment. I will put my new camp knife, Joker Nomad in hard use and I will report how it works.

The small Brisa look's a bit messy because I put some wood glue on the paracord, it gives a nice rubbery surface and a good grip, it's easy to get the extra glue off. With a kydex sheath it feels like a card case in the pocket, very good pocket fixed blade.

Of small, pocket sized fixed blades. The Giant Mouse GMF1 and this Brisa Scara competed in my mind. They are almost identical in dimensions and weight. I bought the Scara as a bare blade, made a cord wrap and modified an existing kydex sheath for this knife. RWL34 steel is not too difficult to sharpen. This is very easy to carry in pocket and works well. No doubt the GMF1 would have been also an excellent knife and I have heard much praise about it, but this was my choice and have not regretted it. It needs a short lanyard to get a comfortable hold.
