EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Looks like a great show. Great looking purchase. Interesting material combination for the scabbard
The show is not big, 40-50 participants. But there were very bright, memorable works.

The materials of the scabbard are actually quite typical for the northern peoples of Russia. First, a boat is cut out of wood to fit the blade, then it is covered with bone or decorated wood. Afterwards, a leather stocking is sewn and pulled onto the boat while wet. Once the skin dries, it can no longer be moved. The knife locks into the sheath with a characteristic click.

Had an SHF 3.25 on me Wednesday and a portion of yesterday before heading up to our mountain place in north GA. So today I’m recovering from a 10 hour drive that took 13 hours because no matter how well we plan, we inevitably get bogged down in rush-hour traffic near Atlanta.

Anyway, I have my “DTK” with me (Dedicated Travel Knife….a term I coined a while back and believed would take the industry by storm but hasn’t seemed to catch on😂). Hoping to get some good pics as our granddaughters are flying in for 10 days and we’ll be doing a lot of exploring and hiking.

Not sure why, but I always feel like I need a vacation after a vacation.

Again, Wednesday/partial Thursday carry:

Thank you for the information. Sounds like very solid construction that will last a lifetime.
Someone looks happy in the new home
