"The Six Million Dollar Man" was a mid-1970's US TV showing starring Lee Majors as former astronaut Col Steve Austin who had bionic implants that gave him super-human attributes as in speed, strength, vision, etc. He was employed as a secret agent by a fictional US intelligence department. He probably beat up a lot of Russians  --sorry about that, brother .

My reference was to the titanium and plastic left hip replacement I so successfully received last year as well as my aborted right knee replacement last February along with the re-build I require for my left shoulder. I'm not a former astronaut or super-spy--just a beat-up old carpenter. :(
