I don't have any either.
I've been a long fan of CM. Unfortunately I wasn't an active member Here then, only lurked. I lurked for close to maybe 5 years before joining. I love still seeing his name pop up. Wish I could have talked with him some.

To your point, idk what I'm doing?
I recently got a 14" contact wheel, and I'm torn between trying a hollow, then flat tipped version, or a flat/convex version like I would normally grind.... Notice I put some belly on it.
My normal grind is what I see in my head, but also with wood that has a touch of warmer color notes...idk, maybe not as dark as ebony? I just have this wood begging to be used

.like You know, I waste A lot of time just daydreaming about stuff....haha

I don't want it to be mall-ninja, but I think a patina soaked dark, wooden blade most certainly could be Badass. :D
 
I was sitting here as usual this morning, drinking my first coffee, and pretty much decided on carrying my large 31 Dambenza today. Along the way I put yesterday's carry back in the Russian draw and never made it out of there and up one level to my stash of USA mid-techs. Instead, I went to the other side of the drawer and halfway back and grabbed my CKF MILK which hasn't gotten any love for too long.
