EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Mornin folks! Got the Wingman EDC Mayo Dr. Death model today. This thing came with a very, very stiff detent. I'd been putting off tuning it because in order to take a little tension off the Ti lockbar, you have to first take off the steel lockface because it incorporates a lock bar stabilizer on it. But the other day I broke down and did it. I took off the steel lockface, took a little tension off the lockbar (while re-assembling it each micro-adjustment to check it's function and then disassembling again), I de-burred the detent hole (something that I'd never thought about in all my knife years until I recently heard about it. I put my fine Sharpmaker's angled tip inside the hole and worked it just a little bit, it actually did have a tiny burr on it.), cleaned and lubed everything, and added some missing loose bearings to it. When I received it secondhand I found that it was missing like 1/3rd of it's loose bearings. I ordered some 1.5mm ceramic bearings from amazon and they were a perfect match. All together these little updates made the action and detent so much better.

Have to ask, did you use anything along the race way to hold the bearings in place while reassembling 🤔, and what is/was the bearing count per side? Thanks

Yeah, last time I took this thing apart I learned how frustrating it can be re-assembling a knife that uses loose bearings. What I ended up doing this time was putting a little CRK flourinated grease on the tip of these pointed Q-Tips I have, and then putting a light coating in the bearing races. The bearings stuck to the grease and it ended up going back together surprisingly easy this time.

I'm not positive on the bearing count per side, I unfortunately didnt take a pic of the races after putting all the bearings in. However looking at the pics I did take of a race that was about half full of bearings, I'm thinking its 14 bearings per side (I might be off by 1, 2 at the very most). The ceramic bearings that I got from the big river site were sold in a bag of 100 for about 8 dollars, not too bad, and they looked basically identical next to the factory ones.
