I keep running into CruCarta Spydies when perusing these pages--PM2's and 3's, M2's, and Manix's. Yesterday, I was checking out ferider ferider 's very interesting Military 2, set up lefty with its nat Micarta clip-side and an aftermarket Ti scale (by Rocdkscale?) opposite. That was enough to get my CC M2 out and alongside as I spent most all of the day trying to finish the document I've been preparing to try to settle with our Vermont neighbor for her side of the timber trespass that was visited upon us.

You know what? I *like* that color!

Edited to add: I'm on the phone and I tried to click the italics button like ten times, of course to no effect, so we'll have to settle for fancy asterisks to emphasize my level of like!

Thanks, man! And you know what? It looks just as good in person. I like it enough that I bought the (lightly) stonewashed version also. Watch for a pic or two tomorrow...

This Rafael Trentin puukko has really become a go-to work knife. Cuts like butter, melts in to my hand- it's actually replaced my fancy Japanese paring knife!

I did a full take down of the CKF yesterday to address the lock stick and occasional, light grittiness in the pivot.
Came apart easily.. the non-existent pivot is well executed internally.
An alcohol cleanup followed by fresh Frog Lube (paste) has done the trick. The action is SUPERB.
I've been using Frog Lube paste on knives and guns for almost 10 years and I recommend it to anyone who inquires. Smells nice too!
