  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I've got 2 PM2's and they're really good knives, but they don't seem to make it into my pocket that often, maybe because I have so many other really good knives. I pocketed my Plain Jane today before finishing up some sheetmetal work. I ran to the hardware store to pick up more solder and supplies and picked up a small ViceGrip welding clamp I needed. Back in the shop I carefully used the knife to open the packaging and still managed to hit the tool and put a couple chips in the blade. Damn it, I hate blister packs.

My Contego is gonna look a little different for a while. My summer job needs a big beefy blade to break down bins of onions. My Endura and PM2 weren't doing as well as I had hoped. I remembered that i had this spare half serrated blade for my Contego so I swapped my plain edge and it chewed through them boxes like it was nothing. The Guru is for fun, and gives me an excuse to carry 2 knives
