I'm a quest to buy a knife made in each of the 50 United States. MKC got on my radar when an operator on the Shawn Ryan Show indicated he EDCs a MKC model.

Combat tested, can't go wrong!

I missed posting yesterday as I was busy moving things around and drying out our tight and overstuffed basement after our water heater blew its top a few days back. Despite my assertion some days ago that I was not finding it necessary to carry small and light IWB in b-ball shorts, I did just that the last two days with my NeOn UltraLite, an alternate iteration of the original NeOn Lite, this one having a single standoff for open-back construction and S30V blade steel. A few of these were made with Elmax, but I'm perfectly happy with what I have as it takes and keeps a very keen edge. I've got it set at a dead-nuts 20° per side and it's a quick and easy touch-up on the SharpMaker when and if it needs to be brought back a little. While I prefer a bigger blade for most work, this one affords a solid 3-and-a-half finger grip, is wicked slicey, and easily takes care of any EDC needs.

Couple of Bucks on the bike ride today. Cheap and wonderful 112 Slim Select with FRN and 420HC, and SFO 501 from DLT with green (c'mon it's brown ) micarta and s35vn steel.

I always like seeing that blue Millie of yours, Joe--one of my very favorites here. My plain Ti fluted model is just about the smoothest knife I've ever handled. I should think that yours would have that same great action too. Sweet knife....

Had the Kapara by my side all day: cut the lawn, washed one of the dogs (she has dermatitis and has to be washed 2x weekly), fixed a wonky door, washed my bike and now I’m enjoying some extra dirty martinis.

EZ Sunday around the pad with the Cru-Tuff Manix and Vic Compact. Tended to the fruit, did some landscaping, replaced a step on the deck, grilled, and enjoyed some time with the family

Finishing up the last of the blueberries, blackberries coming in nicely and should be for the next few weeks still, caught one lone ripe fig but hoping to see the majority within the next couple of weeks, and peaches are looking good but just around the corner still
