I spent a good part of today back in the basement, chasing trapped moisture again and getting in some much needed clean-out along the way. I pulled out years' worth of crap, lots of odd leftover flashing and duct pieces, and stuff that just fallen off the back of the table behind the brake and up against the wall. Anticipating that lots of old boxes would need be slain, I grabbed a work knife out of the Russian drawer that I knew would be up to that task as yesterday's small, saber-ground BMK Sequel had proven deficient in that regard. The 100NS Tabargan has a broad FFG blade and the 440C has a wicked keen edge. With it's sliding bar lock it rather evokes a Benchmade on steroids.
After I came back up to the planet's surface, J put the harness on Big Willey, our 20 lb Siberian feline, and we walked around the yard while the cat grazed on all the lush vegetation he could manage. You can see his lead in in the background of the first pic.
