EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Max-Carta (tropical teal) Para 3, GEC Lil' Rattler, and Vic Companion. For some reason I tend to favor the LW in the Para 3, but I do always enjoy this one when I opt for it.

Great pics. I need to pick up one of those blackwashed 0801s. That model is the classic ZT for me - beautiful lines in all the variations.

Thanks! That 0801Ti of yours is really sweet too. I kinda wish I'd picked one of those up too to go along with my BW and pimped Rexford's. I agree with your "classic" assertion--of a fair number of ZT's I've had, those two and my 0450/0452 pair are the only ones I've kept. I particularly like the blackwashed Rexford as it makes a great work knife with its wear-hiding finish. I must say, though, that I particularly dislike the cheap looking black painted with white logo clips that ZT puts on so many of their knives--I've got replacements on all my four. The MXG black deep-carry is a great add to the BW, but I wish I could find a black oxide instead of the painted one.

Whew, I'm so relieved. 2 days ago, at work in the early morning close to the beginning of the shift, I reached to grab my Benchmade mini Dejavoo and it was missing from my pocket! I quickly looked around the cab of my vehicle and couldn't find it. I swerved to the side of the road and started rummaging through the cab, but to no avail. I suddenly realized it must have been on my lap while driving and when I got out a while back to pee on the side of the road in the bushes it must have fell off my lap while getting out...

Fast forward 24 hours and I had torn my work vehicle apart, my personal vehicle apart, I'd spent 45 anxious minutes searching through the thick weeds on the side of the road where I had originally stopped to pee on the way to my first jobsite (while it was still dark out). I'd all but given up looking, and was just hoping that I had done something weird at home and it was there somewhere (even though I'd looked there too). Later, when I got back to the warehouse, my coworker made a funny remark to me because he had seen me searching through the weeds on the side of the road looking like a tweeker while he was driving to work. I told him I'd lost my knife, and lo and behold that Mutha had actually found it himself in the work parking lot the day before!

So anyways, she's back with me and I'm happy... 😃 Somebody did treat it like a rental in the meantime and must have been cutting against the cement floor because the whole edge is folded over into a burr, but that's easy enough to fix.

Good thing you found the knife. I hate that feeling when you know exactly where your knife should be. But it's not there! I once spent a whole day looking for my Microtech LUDT. Then I found out that my car's seat belt stole it.

Evening walk with the dog.
