Love those SAO 226. Mine's a tack driver!

I never did get around to posting yesterday after spending the morning loading up and installing the awning stand-offs at my client's house. It was kinda hot for the Cape, the sun was strong, and I was a bit bushed when I dragged myself home. I doubled up and carried the my SERE again as I spent today mostly relaxing while paying some bills and responding to my Vermont neighbor's lawyer regarding her timber trespass on our property up north.

I'm generally picture heavy anyway, and I'll even throw in an extra as this is two day's worth.... ;)

This knife was sent to me in a pass around. Ya can check it here:

His name is Camper and I made him some new pants and I'm carrying him today:

This is my Slotted sheath a very versatile design. Will literally go on your belt 360 degrees.

Ya let your belt out a notch and the sheath goes under the belt.

Kinda reminiscent of a mountain man/Plains Indian type of sheath:

Out of the way even when you are an old guy bending over:

Nice sheath. That's a trusty looking companion you have with you there.

Nice work as always, but please pass on compliments to the horse for its coat!

Happy friday! I'm happy that my new work phone camera has the definition to show scratches and dents on my knives. My old camera worked well, but the lens was scratched up itself, so it wasn't able to pick up scratches, so it looked like all my knives were pristine. It's pretty crazy how good the pictures come out on phones now days without any editing after you take the pic. The only thing I ever do is turn the brightness up or down a little bit as I'm taking the pic.
