EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Thank you for the information! I'll read through these when I get home and have a larger screen then my phone.

You're not far wrong. I inadvertently ended up with a larger one due to a miscommunication with a lady who had bought it for her dad to take camping. While talking to her over the phone I made the mistake of assuming it would be a fixed blade when I kind of committed myself to helping her.

I got it at a really good price, so I was going to carry it and use it but it was just bigger than what I want to EDC. So I traded it to a friend who does some knife selling and trading for one that was more pocket friendly and already used so I didn't mind using it.

We made the deal sitting in front of his garage...
Nice man! Sounds like you made out well!👍 Yeah that's a heck of a knife you got there. I used to have one, a small like yours, and I kick myself every time I think about when I got rid of it. It's good to see yours in use!

This little bandit came out this afternoon after he spotted me putting out food for the birds (I saw him at the neighbors looking at me just before this). He was munching on the peanuts I put out for the crows when I went out there to get a few pics of him. He ran off when I got too close, but then after I talked to him for a second, he actually started walking right up towards me. He was about 7 feet away when I decided to try to get a knife pic with him in the background, but he didn't like the sound of the Sebenza action opening and then finally took off up a tree.

Smart little trash panda…didn’t want to square up against the business end of a Sebenza!

Nat’l 🔪 Day…my real EDC.
I carry this Orvis Fly Pack as my daily backpack to work (office job). The Heidi Blacksmith #1 is always secured to the shoulder strap and the Dozier is always tucked inside. The Riv is in my pocket today. After carrying this pack for 3-4 years, only once has a co-worker commented on the fixie. I guess it blends in well. Apologies for the sub par pic quality.IMG_9548.jpegIMG_9553.jpegIMG_9555.jpeg

Yea I love the fall weather. I can handle winter but it just makes everything you do harder. We’re not set up for it down here. Two inches of snow and everything is shut down for a day minimum. If I could have the spring/fall weather year round, with summer daylight 5:30 in the morning until 9:00pm it’d be perfect. Just skip winter all together
It does slow things down. Slows things down even in the north. Equipment and bodies are not fully designed for it. I still enjoy winter though. I remember those days living and working down south.
The look says it all.

Your cat there is really excited about that Manix. You need to calm him down:)

Haha , yeah , she wasn’t at all thrilled that I interrupted her morning nap for a knife pic. It’s the same look I gave my wife when she told me my mother-in-law was staying the night 😑
