Yes, as long as it can still be closed one-handed. I have a bunch that can, but a few that cannot. To me it makes a big difference in its usability … depending of course on what I’m cutting into at the time.Anybody other than me still like assisted opening knives? (Yeah, that’s what I thought.)

For sure. I have noticed the older I get the more I feel winter. Now don’t get me wrong working outside in the southern summer can be brutal at times. Those days when you’re already sweating by 6am, drenched by 7It does slow things down. Slows things down even in the north. Equipment and bodies are not fully designed for it. I still enjoy winter though. I remember those days living and working down south.
