I'll post some good pics of my adventures on my camping trip here soon, I haven't quite had the motivation yet, but here's my Shootout which I'll carry today, with Mt. St. Helens in the background. We camped just below the tree line.
I have been carrying this Griffin co X series edc blade for a week or two. I was really surprised at how light and thin it was when it arrived. The tip is ground to a near needle point and can easily be worrisome if you intended to give this any rough treatment. I think the tip would not last with any stabbing and lateral movement but I’m sure that was not the makers intent. It is thin and as light as a feather in your pocket. Virtually unnoticeable. It excels at slicey dicey for sure and Magnacut should prevent rust to a high degree. Not a bad choice for cutting jobs if you keep in mind its limitations (at least in my mind). Food for thought if anyone is considering one.
