It's been four years since I decided to sell the bulk of my collection and focus more on exceptional quality. Now days I don't buy as many knives, perhaps two maybe three per year tops, but my life is less cluttered and I can focus on enjoying what I have. This arrived Monday, my last purchase for 2024, and I have been carrying it since. A phenomenal example of what I consider the perfect EDC for an urbanite.

Thinking of ordering that exact spec morpheus right now (thinking SW 1.0, cant quite tell what yours is). Such nice knives.

My entire collection went back into storage yesterday as our new place still isn’t ready for occupancy. I figured a small 31 would see me through whatever the next two weeks bring.

I missed posting yesterday despite having lots of pics to spare from Thursday's NKD and having swapped out the bead from my Crooked River to the Flourishes. A trip uptown included picking up O-rings to add some contrast to the big-ass bead I had on hand and tied up on the Benchmade. Here's the SHF dressed up CP-style with the Ultem bead from the CR...



...and here's the pair newly adorned. The big bead on the BMK is Butterscotch Micarta that almost reads as orange to match the pivot collar.

Near Mirror. Generally I don't care for mirror but since this is "near mirror" decided to give it a chance. Very pleased with it, even the edge is mirrored (or near). I don't think the SW 1.0 will disappoint either.
