That water screams slow cranked jitterbug and hang on. If that doesn't work, a slow cranked 3-5 foot deep diving crank bait

Hmmm yeah I haven't fished this particular body of water yet, but you're making me think on it. It's a pretty slow moving river, the bank access is quite tough though, it has steep banks almost everywhere with a lot of scrub on the slopes. Kind of a strange river, not at all what I'm used to as far as fishing goes. I have been meaning to give her a try though.

From the photo looks like a canoe, kayak or flat bottom Jon boat would work. Sounds like getting on and off the water might be an issue. I understand about the banks.
