EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I figured after 4 days of carrying Spartan Harsey Folders I'd get away a bit from big chunk folders and went over to my Benchmade stash figuring I'd go lighter and mid-sized or maybe longer, thinner, pointier. Well that didn't work out for no particular reason except for something guiding my hand to my bigger, chunkier Adamas. This is a knife that had interested me without pulling the trigger for a long time and I'm glad I waited for this slightly lightened and thinned down blacked-out version with its Tungsten Gray coated CruWear blade.

Hey Steve!!!
Bought that sexy bitch over 10 years ago and have carried, and used it, a ton!
Still perfectly centered and a joy to use.
Definitely a keeper!
This one and the 581 are quite similar……2 of my favorites.

Hope you’re staying sexy my friend!!!
Joe
I hadn't thought of that similarity between your 665 and the 581until you mentioned it, Joe, but looking at your pics side by side I can see what you mean, both in the handles and blades. I've always really like what you had done to your Barrage. My 581 still looks more or less stock, but, not being an AO kinda guy, I've de-assisted mine and taken out out the backspacer and lock, replacing those with standoffs and adding black thumb studs and screws at the aluminum bolsters. Mine's a work user and still gets regular turns in pocket.

Was going to send you a DM- but you've let your membership lapse lol

I just purchased a Sagric Ghost myself (waiting for its arrival).. how do you like it?
Lol, I had no idea my membership had lapsed. Just took care of it.

Gotta tell ya, I love the Ghost. Stephane’s work is impeccable, and while the blade shape is perhaps a bit unconventional the lines are just gorgeous. Fits my hand perfectly and the action is the best I’ve ever had in a thumb-stud deployed blade. I carry it but it doesn’t see any hard work…it’s just too damn pretty, lol.

I’m really excited to see which one you’re getting and to hear your thoughts once it arrives. I can easily see myself adding another Ghost in the near future but I’ve been looking at a few other models he makes as well.

Just a quick heads-up. I don’t recall if you’re a watch guy (I may be thinking of another member) but if you are, keep in mind his pouches have a strong magnetic closure. It’s a nice feature, but I inadvertently set a Tudor on it one day and had to demagnetize the watch afterwards, lol.

Again, really looking forward to your pics. Congrats on picking one up…and feel free to shoot me a dm with your thoughts on it.

Enjoy!!

Matt
