Switching to the Para 3 15v
My lynch clip arrived but it’s much much darker then the picture shown it almost looks black instead of a light charcoal color . Beautiful clip but just wanted to warn you guys and gals if you wanted to get what’s called “Dark Abyss” in the picture it looks like a perfect match for 15v. I like it but definitely not what I expected although I am going to run with it and keep it and I’ll swap it out if I ever get another para3 that’ll match better. I attached a picture to show you what I thought I was getting lol.

It does kind of match the exclusive branding on the blade Bare with me I’m talking myself into it

You may prefer the Sandwashed finish. Here's a loose Dark Abyss clip and Sandwashed clip that I cut out of their bags just for you.

Sandwashed is lighter and grey and much less shiny than Dark Abyss.

And we made it to Friday! It felt nice to be carrying all G10 today. G10 scales is where is started when I got my first real quality knife, and I've come full circle to realizing that G10 is one of the best handle materials that there is for me. No frills, tough as hell, and you can finish it however you want. For the last while I've been taking some sandpaper to the pocket clip side of my rough G10 carry knives that get carried. Makes it slide in and out of the pocket so much easier without shredding the pants.

I thought you were going to say you , in the past , had been sanding micart to roughen it up and give it some tooth to be more like G10.
ha ha I've tried that a couple times. Just makes the micarta like suede .
Now I mostly buy and use G10 knives and I to feel more at home.

Dang it !
I thought I had enough Leeks ; now I learn they made one in lovely coarse G10 . I need THAT !

Like that fixed blade . Reminds me of one or another of mine I made from a longer bladed knife . VERY useful .

Haven't posted in a couple of weeks. Was traveling for work and didn't have a knife for most of it. Stuck the Neutron in the pocket as soon as I landed and been carrying it for the last week.

Picked up a new cigar Humidor and so was able to have some fun and cut up the boxing.
This Spydie in 15v made easy work of it and is still hair popping , push cut paper sharp!!

I've been considering an Amphibian for a couple of years now, and when MT introduced the clear (gray) fluted aluminum handles I loved them -- but wasn't wild about the only blade pairing being the apocalyptic finish (looks awesome, not my thing). When I saw they'd come out in clear/stonewash I blew my knife budget on the spot.
