Now I mostly buy and use G10 knives and I to feel more at home.

I thought I had enough Leeks ; now I learn they made one in lovely coarse G10 . I need THAT !

Yeah it is cool how different you can make the texture on micarta depending on how you finish it. And you sure can make it shine and reflect light too if you want finish it at a high grit, which is cool for some applications like inlays.

That Leek is a real old one, I think it was in production over a decade ago, not sure when they stopped making them. It's S30v as well. A great knife.

Two images back to back of knives I gave to coworkers :
The Tuff Lite I gave to a department head who left and came back to say welcome back .
And the Feldspar I gave to the new owner of the company , my boss , five years ago at Christmas . I gave him the blue one. Later I decided I needed one and bought the black ; in the last six months or so added a gray one .
ha ha the other night I was fighting off the urge to get a blue one for me .
Great little knife / can't believe the price . Some companies make a big deal out of how " expensive " it is to contour / sculpt G10 . . . got to charge $270 for sculpted when the flat G10 one is $200 .

Yeah I always saw people talking up the Tuff Lite and gotta say that they're right, it's a great knife! I got that one recently. There was a little bit of a burr on the clip side of the opening hole. I took a Spyderco Sharpmaker brown rod and cleaned that burr up a bit and it's great. I think I actually need to go at it one more light time as I can still feel the burr a bit, but it's much better. Easy fix though.
