EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

A mainstay in my EDC rotation. Hinderer FireTac with a BMG hollow re-grind in CPM-20cv and a micarta custom scale by RC Bladeworks.

Beautiful Firetac! It's a great model and one of the best RHKs to ever come out of the Ranch. Seeing yours almost got me to switch out to mine today which I've felt was one of the best examples of those since I first laid eyes on it over at the Exchange. I'll take it out for a spin tomorrow, though I did just get it out to handle before I wrote.

Did you have the re-grind done? Did it make a big diff? I find mine is not a bad slicer at all, especially for a Hinderer. The blade stock is pretty thin for an RHK, though behind-the-edge thinness, well, not so much. My blade is Battle Black, so I wouldn't consider getting a re-grind anyway.

Today, I did go with one of Rick's out of the gate, and this one is a re-grind--by Josh REK Knives REK Knives , who freed this XM-24 from its original, Spanto, sharpened pry-bar state with a high, large-radius 600 grit hollow grind, adding one of his scary-sharp edges to finish. "Big H" is a lotta knife in hand and pocket, but it cuts like a LASER now and went through a bunch of corrugated boxes this morning left from the custom T-shirts that went out to our Regular Season Champs, Play-off Champs, and Finalists this past weekend.
