Tracking had my new knife's arrival pegged for Tuesday, which is why I mentioned here yesterday I'd be carrying a few knives that were special to me over the weekend while I awaited my new prize. Well, my seller and the USPS got together to set what might be the US record for a transcontinental knife sale. Starting with my 2:03 PM Thursday offer, I got a boxing pic at 2:37, and a same-day USPS shipping receipt pic from the seller at 2:54. I checked the tracking this morning and saw the knife was on its last delivery leg on-Cape and it was available at my PO Box at 9:14 AM. That's 3000 miles in under two days from "I'll take it" to "I got it". WOW!
As for the knife, well, that's another WOW!

I'm blown away by this thing. I've been eyeing one of these for a long time, but really didn't want to pay retail or above, and the wait was worth it as I got just the features I wanted in a well-cared-for knife in excellent condition for a super price.
