Just went in to have the bandage removed and get my operating instructions. I starting not to like the doctor, he said for the next 4 weeks if your bored your doing it right🙁 but at least I get to dump the walker🤗. Good luck on dealing with your hip, the first two weeks are hell but after that I’m questioning why I didn’t do it sooner😉

Soon I’ll be freeView attachment 2801317

That’s great news to hear and have heard others have wondered why they waited so long.

I’m in such bad shape I can hardly walk myself. Especially at the end of my work rotation which I have very limited mobility as is. Hurts like heck to walk, to help my leg in and out of vehicle, to sit, brutal to put my work boots on and off, and painfull as heck getting leg on/off bed, and while sleeping. Wake up with blinding pain if leg is in the wrong spot as it almost always is 😡 and get horrible sleep because of it. I could go on and on but that’s the basic awesomeness of it so far lol.

I told M., my mom had two titanium hips, and my dad titanium knees. And you know about my puppy. It basically went well for all 3 of them, feeling already better the day after surgery. They basically got full function back 3 months after (except, my dad stopped skiing - rotating the knees was not the same as before). Just saying, C., and fingers crossed for you.

Very happy you are healing well, M.

PS: I don't even play a doctor on TV, just trying to be encouraging.
