In my work cell, for the next 30 years of my life.
Acceptance is the beginning stages of a healthy state of mind🤪
I saw a homeless guy holding a sign once that said My Doctor said it’s ok to accept change😆
I have already served my time and got an early release date for good/smart behavior so now I’m doing this. But my cell had 16 wheels and a sleeper 😳

I grew up with a guy that had a bad accident and lost a leg. One day years later I saw him out infront of a CVS with a sign that said " please help I'm on my last leg"

I think he worked for me in Dispatch. Back when He was a driver he would say I drove triples in the canyon and my last stop was down town man you guys got it easy bla bla bla . I don’t think he had a leg to stand on either to back up his stories 🤣

Too funny brother. It's the Cali guys for sure!!

Really loving the Guy Poggetti folder- already eying another from him.

Front and center though is a 1960 Sven Knudsen "Spike". I just won it on eBay his week. For those unknowledgeable about pipes, Sven was a renowned pipemaker and a key figure in the Danish carving "family tree" (practically ran Pipe-Dan for several years and mentored Former, among others).

This presents an parallel - same but different- question.

Is this a user, collector or investor? Mostly the first (knives don't get destroyed by using), but towards the last (not quite like a rare wine or box of cigars. Investment for sure. To partake, is to destroy.)

I really don't know. I've read about pipe smoking. It takes some understanding and finesse. (Like many, MANY things, two areas i fall short.) So not for me. Although you still have that prize handcrafted prize to hold and enjoy, appropriately antiqued, over time...even if you set the inside on fire to use it. Ha

The pipe you mean?
Like all of my pipes, it's a careful user.
It had already been smoked, albeit lightly.
With some mindfulness and care they can be smoked regularly and enjoyed for a lifetime.
