Pulled out an original version of the tri-way Battle Black Halftrack and put a re-profiled/mirrored edge (17/17) on her (20CV). She scored a (63) on my BESS sharpness tester.

Sun, Winkler, SAK, hot smoked bacon, red onions, scallions and patè on danish rye and a hammock, while birds are singing in the background. Can’t complain.

Two arrived yesterday. The Queen lockback reminded me of a Buck 110 in size so making the comparison the Buck 7.36 oz and the new Queen 4.67 oz. The Queen seemed best to carry on my belt so found an old belt sheath. The other new knife is the Rosecraft, my first one of this brand, seems well crafted but a bit stronger pull than I like. Cannot comfortably pinch open but not a killer using the nail nick.

Going into the weeks end with my tri-way wharncliff Hinderer. The addition of the bearings made a real difference in the way these flip.
