COOL Ben Hogan. Love the bone on that one.
I was also gifted these 2 randall knives. How do I clean these up? View attachment 2804748

Dremel tool.....No, no, no.....The metal will clean up nicely with bit of Simichrome polish, no need to use abrasives or power tools. Its just a bit of verdigris on the surface that will come right off. The leather just need a bit of leather conditioner. I'd use a bit of lemon oil on the handle.I was also gifted these 2 randall knives. How do I clean these up? View attachment 2804748

Thanks brother!!Evaporust will clean up the blades of they have scale or rust.
Brass, depending on the level of verdigris, you might be able to polish it off by hand.
Worst case scenario, you might have to sand it with 1500 grit (wet and dry) sandpaper. If you don't have a bench grinder with polishing wheel, you can use a dremel. Use a a polishing wheel and some good metal polish.
Try some saddle soap on the leather, that might wipe off. If not, try the 1500 grit paper lightly. Then use some bees wax leather conditioner.
Congratulations to your BirthdayHappy Friday to everyone!
And happy birthday to myself!
