New knife day! And it's taking it's first walk around the way. This is a knife that I've wanted for a very long time. Ever since it was in production. The Benchmade 760. A Lum design, titanium framelock (with the sweet polished chamfers along the handle holes), and a M4 blade DLC coated. One sweet piece of kit if I do say so myself!

This is the only higher end folder I own with partial serrations, however you have to make compromises and I got it at a good price. Who knows, maybe I'll find that the serrations really come in handy and my rule of no combo blades shouldn't be entirely set in stone.

Really good fit and finish on this thing though! I love me an old school Benchmade.

Did a little fishing this morning. Got to the stream too early, but did find two fish willing to play. In the afternoon I tried a stocker pond at a different location and caught a few rainbows.

Sebenza was along. I only used the graphite line cannon at the stocker pond. Small streams are fiberglass rod territory.

All we’ve ever done is adopt rescue dogs. They are the best. Kick ass mordax. The ProTech guys were in full force at Blade Show Texas yesterday. I had to keep my hand on my wallet to avoid the tractor beam

Same, love the rescues or foster fails as my wife calls them. Never made it to any knife trade shows, but I can relate to the temptation.
