EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I set the Civivi aside this morning and went to the other end of the spectrum for today's work knife. I pocketed and used the Turtle a bit while I urethaned the bathroom cabinet doors on the sheetmetal shop bench in the basement.

Since I picked it up last week, I've been thinking about what knives I have that share some similarities with the Arius. While the Turtle seems quite different given its blade shape, the length of their extensively milled Ti handle slabs is almost identical, the Arius's actually being the slightest bit longer. While the Koenig's is certainly more extreme, the knives' handles share long finger choils, palm swells, and arched, open backs. Both knives are frame lock flippers with ball bearing pivots and have amazing opening and closing action, though my F95 is currently due for an interior cleaning.

Their other commonality is I like 'em both a whole lot, and, as the Arius has been close at hand since it arrived, I took the pair outside while waiting for the back of my doors to dry for a side-by-side, mid-afternoon photo op.

Carried 4 blades today. Blade show was a really cool experience. I met a lot of really awesome people. I wish I could have bought a knife from all of them. I decided I wanted to make only one purchase. Brad and Nicole were super awesome people and we’re very hospitable about what I wanted from their products, so that’s what I chose. But as you can see from the first photo, I have many leads to follow up on. There’s really no way to really know how many options there are out there unless you attend something like Blade Show. I would highly advise going to Blade show Texas if you have the opportunity. God bless.

New knife day! And it's taking it's first walk around the way. This is a knife that I've wanted for a very long time. Ever since it was in production. The Benchmade 760. A Lum design, titanium framelock (with the sweet polished chamfers along the handle holes), and a M4 blade DLC coated. One sweet piece of kit if I do say so myself!

This is the only higher end folder I own with partial serrations, however you have to make compromises and I got it at a good price. Who knows, maybe I'll find that the serrations really come in handy and my rule of no combo blades shouldn't be entirely set in stone.

Really good fit and finish on this thing though! I love me an old school Benchmade.
