EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I hope all of you are having a good start to this Sunday morning!

This Giant Mouse 'Ace' dressed in her canvas micarta, brass backspace & thumb stud, Elmax blade, and weighing in at just 2.8oz is a pure joy to EDC.
Her crowned blade spine and controlled drop shut action adds to the appeal.

Hazelnut tree, BTW...

Here's to a fun Sunday!

That's tree abuse. I'm calling all tree huggers!!

Very cool! How many acres you sitting on if you don't mind me asking? I love the country and grew up out in the sticks.
Our home sits on 120 acres. 10 acres of tillable farm ground, 15 acres of prairie hay that we bail and sell the hay from and the rest is pasture for grazing cattle. We also own a quarter section of dryland farm ground (corn and soybeans) 3 miles southwest across the river from where we live. Closest neighbor is 3/4 mile north across a lightly traveled blacktop county road. All the ground to the south and west of our home is government wildlife and parks and we own the pasture to the east so we will never have neighbors closer (no HOA). So when I say life is great out here in the sticks now you know where I’m coming from. It’s really peaceful and quiet out here.

Very nice my friend, I'm happy for you! That's really what I want more than anything (possession wise), is to have a big property out in the country that I can just do whatever the hell I want on. I've been living in the city for the past few years after a lifetime of living in the country or in a small town and it's just not a great match for me. I want to be able to not see a human for a week unless I choose to. Very cool that your property has been in the family so long too!

I highly advise it. We shoot guns, ride ATVs, start fires and sometimes make a lot of noise and nobody complains. It’s been a great place to raise our kids. (Adults now)

Yes, human interaction should be a choice. For me, the less the better. There’s no way I would be able to adapt to living in a city or even moving to a house in the small town I grew up in. It’s 6 miles from here and I only stop in town if it’s absolutely necessary. It has 4 stoplights and that’s 4 too many.

So I'm actually carrying something other than my most recent Cheburkov today, though it's not put away, but set closely aside for admiring and fidgeting. In pocket is the CKF SSE which was used for a little in both shops and on the bathroom project as you can see by the lingering goop on the cutting edge in pic 2.

Great pictures mate 👍
Shirt off?
Don't forget to
Thanks my friend!

Whoah, now that was an old commercial! Good point though. I always try to put on a little sun block when I'm going out for a decent bit of time during the summer, but it was only 60 something degrees Fahrenheit yesterday and had been mainly cloudy for the past 5 months, so I wanted to catch every sunray possible!
