Since I saw your BEAUTY, I looked up his work on other sites and it seems he used ATS-34 quite a bit. Whether yours has that blade steel...who knows?

I had gotten my 908BK-1501 Stryker out yesterday while posting about black coated blades and was figuring on carrying it today for an M4 Monday, but while rooting around in my knife drawers putting some others away, I ran into the Koenig Arius and, well, here it is and the Stryker will just have to wait....

When the 112 (and 110) came out in G10 all the way past the pivot I went bananas . Just what I've always wanted . An inexpensive GRAIL !
Ha ha
a mini story behind mine : I bought the knife new but one scale was much smoother than the other scale which was nice and had some "bite" to the texture .
I ordered a second one , took the good scale off it and put it on my original and sent the turkey scale back with the second knife. I can't remember why I didn't just send the first knife back but probably a combination of carrying / using it too much and or sharpening / reprofiling it before I got the idea to try another one .
