I've been giving this Higonokami more love lately, I really like it. Then I saw a thread on Reddit where a guy decided to leave his traditional western lifestyle and become a nomad traveling around and working where he could (without the drugs and stuff) to support his meager lifestyle. He sewed a leather pouch into his boots and kept his Higonokami in there. It's one of those things that's not really something I'd ever actually do, I think, but it's fun to romanticize about for a bit. Sort of brings on those Huck Finn vibes.
