EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

We spent the weekend here with 2 of our 3 grown sons, the oldest from the next town and the youngest from the next state, and I never got around to posting yesterday. They left a while ago, the house is quieter now, and the larder emptier--some things don't seem to change all that much despite all the years that have passed since they were kids.

Anyway, I carried the knife that was gifted me by my youngest again yesterday, as I said I would earlier, but moved up to my Arius today as it caught my eye while looking through the drawers this morning. I spent quite a few years waiting for the right one to show up at the right price and am sure pleased that it finally cam my way.

Holy crap balls! First of all, I just got my first Shiro yesterday and it definitely lives up to the hype. Perfect knife for sure... However, being that I can't help myself and always find something I have to adjust with a new knife, I decided the pocket clip was a little too loose and took the knife apart. Thank goodness I did it over a frisbee! And holy frickin banana sandwiches! I've never F'd with those type of bearings before and Good Lord was it a challenge to put back together! Took me about three tries but I got it. Phew! Never again 😭 Happy Easter. He has risen...

Okay how many bearings per side? Did you use grease to hold them in place or luck? Sorry been there done that and it’s still not together with bearings, now it runs on washers🤔🙁

Straight up luck, and I had to hold my mouth just right, with a flashlight in it! Dude, washers sound amazing right now! I'm proud of myself for getting it back together though. What a near nightmare!

Basically had to just carefully put one ball in at a time, sandwich with blade, put that side of the pivot back in, then do the other side, one ball at a time (with help from a little pokey tool), then very carefully reassemble... Like I said, took at least three tries. Soooo glad I didn't lose a ball in the process!
