On stairs, I can see your point. Laminate can be slick and those edges look like trip hazards.

I was also speaking to the treads of the staircase. It’s a high wear area and laminate can be slippery.

Thank you! I will order two. I have an old buddy who grew up in Lake Geneva Wisconsin. His family had a place there and ran old wooden motorboats. He needs one of these too.
