Love \ lust the first 2......Especially the fixed blade......Had me a few knives out yesterday while tending to the garden, the birds, and the flower seeds that I planted. A couple of the Sunflowers are sprouting after planting them a few days ago. The trees and bushes sure are loving this weather!

Thanks brother. The first fixed blade is made by Allen Blade. He's a long gone (from the knife community) maker who kinda made knives in inspiration of Mad Dog Knives. I've always loved the mortised style handle on fixed blades (at least I think that's what they're called). I've got one other of his knives and have had that one for 15 years or so. As I posted it, it crossed my mind that that's a lot of green micarta and that you'd probably like it.Love \ lust the first 2......Especially the fixed blade......![]()
Just curious, what were you doing with the knife when this happened? I’m guessing that you will, or have contacted Cold Steel. Please keep us posted on how they handle the situation.Been carrying the Magnacut Recon 1...til today when the spring decided to give out after under three weeks (it should be straight where the red arrows are)

So now back to the better version that costs a fraction of the price.

Anyone ever had a back spring bend and permanently lose tension on them just from opening the knife? A first for me
The fixed blade in the last photo caught my attention. Thanks my friend. That one was made by Landi. He was a Bladeforums maker who was on the forums for many years. Made some pretty cool fixed blades. Not sure what ever happened to him.The fixed blade in the last photo caught my attention. Good looking blades all the way around
