I've said it before, but the old school Kershaw Avalanche is just one of those 'perfect' knife designs for me. Just a good ol' American style design that fits my hand like a glove and has everything that I need and nothing I don't. Only thing is I wish it were manual instead of assisted. I could always change that if I had a detent hole drilled into the blade. It's got the detent ball but no hole as the torsion spring holds it in. Then I got the chisel ground Kabar.
