  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I've wanted this for a minute and snagged one on the exchange here. . . ..It's just so frickin awesome.
I know !
I was stupid to wait so long .
Got one last winter .
It has so many boxes checked of what I like in a knife like this .

I went in a totally different direction from yesterday's slim, hyper-pointy, Dama blade, making this a Thick Throwback Thursday with an older gen Hinderer. This was my first RHK, picked up off the Exchange in 2016, a 3.5" XM18 Spanto, not a Fatty, but surely a hefty chunk of S35VN with a wedge for a tip. I'm not much for skulls, swords, or steel-flame decorations, but I really like the dragon etching on this one and the brass stand-offs OTS, and filler tab add a nice touch. I did a significant re-profile some time back and the knife is a surprisingly good cutter despite its blade geometry and girth.
