EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Today's carry is a new acquisition, the Benchmade 940. I've had the 945BK-1 for some time and then a very well priced 940 came up on the radar. Well I zeroed in and scooped it up.

Do they wand you going in???? Or just its easier???

In some of the places, they do wand you.. I know the sheath has metal in it, so in that case, the clone goes between my belt and my pants in a horizontal method.. but most of the time the sheath doesn't set off the wand due to the way these guys sweep the wand over you.. When I worked airport security in the days before TSA, I would test my guys in the use of the xray machine and would be able to get a 12 inch bowie knife through the metal detector gate and the xray machine.. Just a way to test the attentiveness of the troops

For some reason I've never connected well with this knife so I wanted to give it some pocket time. Honestly it cuts great, really nice size for every day needs and decent action. I may need to try a different set of scales for it. Cut a ton of boxes today though and it stropped back really well.

In case it helps, these are the heaviest nunchakus I've seen anywhere. Two stores that have sold these before have been EKnives and Empire Outfitters, but they're pretty rare. Hopefully he responds. He's never responded to any of my messages

Great info. The weight doesn't bother me. I like heavy kali sticks also. Strength through practice..
