Sweet looking DM, Guy! Awesome handle, is that what they call “suregrip”, or is it different? A lot of similarities in your little Spydie neck knife, I’m sure you had it in mind while having it built.
Sweet SHF GuyA unique modded SHF, no idea who did the mods, but I got it from a buddy and it has been a real joy to own and use!View attachment 2971265
Can you pm me a link?Sweet SHF Guy
The handle material is actually Grip-Tec, David recommended it over SureTouch.Sweet looking DM, Guy! Awesome handle, is that what they call “suregrip”, or is it different? A lot of similarities in your little Spydie neck knife, I’m sure you had it in mind while having it built.
I have my own on the way, it's the one with green handle in his shop progress photosThe handle material is actually Grip-Tec, David recommended it over SureTouch.
Yes, there is definitely some homage to the Spyderco ARK in the design of this DM blade!![]()
The ARK served me well for about five years, and I'm expecting this new Necker to be my daily carry for much longer. Very happy with the design and David's work!
I snagged his last blank for this run, but you should message him, they are far more reasonable than you would think!I’m planning on getting a copy of that one next year, P PeaceInOurTime

I really like the blade profile and overall feel in the hand. Yeah Kershaws are great values imo - I have a Skyline that I have never lubed - just cleaned, and sharpened once. Had it for between 15 and 20 years, used it A LOT - zero play in pivot and lock up.The Concierge is a great knife. Bought one for a buddy years ago who worked as a concierge at the time. Knife is still going strong.
