EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Putting away my Kapara this morning, I though I'd double up and pay homage to DaveHS DaveHS and GovernorJosh GovernorJosh and their Spyd-tember run. I decided to pick my rarely carried Manix XL as it's another one of those that I've pondered selling like the Native Chief I carried a couple weeks back. The short story is that, like that knife I've decided to keep this one too as I spent some time with and working it on for a Too Too Tuesday.

Some might think this one is Too big or Too heavy or Too much of a pocket hog or has Too much aggressive jimping or was Too hard to break in. That last was me, as I tortured my fingers for a couple weeks working the release button before it finally loosened up enough to be one-hand closer as the knife is indeed Too long to nest the butt in my palm for leverage. Anyway, I spent time putting a new lanyard with nice bead on it this afternoon to replace the plain knotted camo cord that was there, touched up the edge on the SharpMaker, and worked the knife a bit to free up the action as it had sat for way Too long.

I'm glad I got it out, as re-discovering and enjoying a knife you let sit Too long can be even better than having something new as it doesn't cost a thing. ;)

Wharncliffe Wednesday : back to office with the Spyderco Carbon Fiber Kiwi 😊

Some OG goodness....... Much prefer the OLD ones👌!!!!!! Great. Grab...👍
Thanks man! I much prefer the old ones too, even if they did change to Magnacut for the new ones. Not every knife needs to be Magnacut. These milled blades on knives are far and few between. You have to catch any milled model before they figure out that it costs a lot more in production (at least I think) to do it like this instead of the standard way of grinding blades. Because it seems like every knife that comes with a milled blade eventually changes into a standard grind over time.

Carried it again yesterday!
