EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Thanks, Jonny. Those scales are stock on a Knifecenter exclusive Pakkawood Endura with a HAP40/SUS410 laminated blade. I also have a Delica and and a Police with the same steel and scales. There was also an Endela and, I believe, a Dragonfly similarly outfitted. I recall that abbazaba abbazaba , who first turned me on to these exclusives, had a nice pic here with five of them and would have a better handle on what was available. I think all those I mentioned sold out their runs and are now discontinued. Knifecenter is currently offering only a Ladybug in that configuration.

Pakkawood is a laminated material and, I believe, is a sort of mahogany-oid wood--not true mahogany but something along the lines of lauan. Frankly, the wood was sort disappointing out of the box--kind of dry to the touch and lacking in deep coloration--but it took only a day or so of handling for it to pick up oils from my hands for the scales to pick up an increasingly rich luster. I kinda wish I'd picked up an Endela.
AFAIK, the Delica, Endura, Endela, Dragonfly, Police4, and Ladybug were the only knives KC offered in Pakkawood so far. The Delica and Endura also got the darker wood with damascus versions. I carried the Delica for a long time loose in my pocket with keys and the Pakkawood still looks new. I regret selling some of these, and am still looking for a replacement HAP40 Endura. With any luck we'll still see a Manbug and Stretch2 XL.

Gotta love those sexy Seki backs!

Fingers crossed they finally do a bolstered Manbug version. Here's my Photoslopped mock up:

A lot of people slept on this beauty for some reason. They had it on a pretty good sale when I picked it up:

Thanks for all of that and for reposting the great pic of your then five--I searched quite a bit for that without any luck while replying to 91bravo 91bravo . The more I carry and handle my three of those the more I like them. I dug up a couple old pics of that trio yesterday to post, but would like some better results, so I'll give that a few shots 😏 later while in the midst of my current Spydathon.
