EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Glad to see you posting this one. I purchased one after you gave it a glowing recommendation some time back, and it hasn't disappointed. I keep it in my vehicle and it's It's been carried as a weekend knife a few times as I'd been out running errands and forgotten to bring something suitable. I like these very much.

My Spy-tember has turned to Octo-derco, it's the first of the month and Day/Knife 24 of my trip through my accumulation of knives with holes in the blade. It's also Wooden Wednesday and I've had the last of my qualifying knives with that scale material in my pocket. I've not used it for much more than opening a couple reams of paper as I've printed up 990 pages on 660 sheets for flyer/informational/sign-up handouts to go out to two grades in our elementary schools.

Cool covers, Steve!

Just happened to walk through the shop at work and see one of the mechanics left their knife sitting out and I couldn’t resist taking a pic 🤣. Then I had to explain my knife addiction and watch him try to understand why I had a $400 knife in my pocket. He looked at me like I was insane. IMG_8353.jpegIMG_8146.jpeg

Yea, if you are not a knife bro, you just don't get it 😂 I showed one of our estimators my new $1300 Farid and he proceeded to pull out his SAK 😂

One of my neighbors up north has become a good friend. He is a kind and generous guy with a lot of skills and gear. He does a lot of good for our town and anyone who might be in need of something he can do. I gave him my Buck Duke, like new in a sheath, and he really liked it. On a trip up a year later I had my sharpening gear with me and asked him if I could freshen the edge for him. He told me he'd seen what that knife costs and wouldn't dream of carrying something that expensive around. I had paid a little over 40 bucks for it and he might have seen it somewhere up there for 50 0r 60.

I'm never telling him what any blade I've got in my pocket cost.
