EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I have one of those - its a sweeet looking knife, but I had major issues with the lock bar. First it had severe lock stick, which I pretty much cured with the Sharpie trick (yes, it really works); but the lock bar itself is still so stiff to release that it’s painful on my thumb. Worst case of all my liner and frame locks. I’m actually thinking of doing the unthinkable and taking it apart to try to soften the spring tension on it. How’s that end of the business on yours?
Well that sux. Mine is a dream to operate. So smooth and zero lock stick. It's just perfect. I'm so very happy with my purchase, which was a sweet deal.

That’s good to know I guess that mine is probably a fluke. I tried to contact them again about a week ago, annd again no response, so it might be time to drop a dime in the GBU forum. Or try to do some surgery on it myself. It’s a shame because it’s such a nice looking knife that would make a good user.

FIXED! Required some fine surgery. Tore it apart, separated the liner from the scale and de-torqued the lock bar. I was very careful not to over-de-torque it, and it’s probably less than a mm between where it started and where it ended up. Now it releases with barely more than a thought, and still has enough pressure on the detente to keep it firmly closed. It all went back together nicely, blade is perfectly centered, solid lockup, no hint of blade play, no extra pieces left over. And no more lock stick, which I’m pretty sure now is because the lock bar was over-sprung and just pressing too tightly against the lock stop. But now it works as beautifully as it looks. And it’s all S Spuzzard604 ‘s fault for buying one and inspiring me to do something to make mine usable. I’m a happy clam again.
