EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Would heat treat and or hardness effect the stain resistance? Honest question, I have not seen on my MC blades but all are fixies and don’t see much edc use
I’m gonna wing a guess here and suggest that maybe it could have something to do with residue on the blade from the grinding or finishing wheel that may have been used on other materials at the factory. I’ve read that as a possible cause for staining on supposedly stainless steel. I’m no metallurgist by any stretch, so take that with the requisite grain of salt.

FIXED! Required some fine surgery. Tore it apart, separated the liner from the scale and de-torqued the lock bar. I was very careful not to over-de-torque it, and it’s probably less than a mm between where it started and where it ended up. Now it releases with barely more than a thought, and still has enough pressure on the detente to keep it firmly closed. It all went back together nicely, blade is perfectly centered, solid lockup, no hint of blade play, no extra pieces left over. And no more lock stick, which I’m pretty sure now is because the lock bar was over-sprung and just pressing too tightly against the lock stop. But now it works as beautifully as it looks. And it’s all @Spuzzard604 ‘s fault for buying one and inspiring me to do something to make mine usable. I’m a happy clam again.

So, I've been struggling with all my b-ball admin since I got back from VT. There's a lot to do and it's hard to get through registrations heading into our club tryouts and getting the league ready for scheduling, web updates, and pre-season when I feel like sh*t with this damn virus. I haven't taken the time to follow anything here and just posted once with a summary of our time at camp. I have managed some daily knife pics, though, so here's what I've carried since we've been home....

'Twas a Ti Tuesday with my PJ Boomascus 31...

I knew you'd do it. Linguini to the rescue.
