Hey it’s a digital bore gauge with interchangeable jaw attachments for precision measuring of ID bores. Mostly use it for checking wear/tolerances and QC etc of various machined parts for the Oil and Gas industry. I believe other styles of attachments are available as well from Fowler Bowers.

Ever look at something and the first thing you think of is "that's expensive"?

If you're allowed to say, I'm curious what kind of go/no-go tolerances you look for?

(I have no idea what sort of information is considered "proprietary", these days.)

My girlfriend carries the exact same version you have! She now wants a set of these grips as well, in pink so they match her Delica scales. Not sure if they make that lol

Hogue does absolutely make SP101 grips in pink. $34.95 as I recall. You may get some extra points for gifting them.
