EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Got my first pistol at 15, a S&W snubby kit gun, pretty sure it was a model 34
I grew up in a rural area, and everybody I knew hunted, but I can't remember anyone having a handgun. The first handgun I ever shot was an old 1911 at Marine boot camp in 1966. And it was love at first shot.
A bonus pic. Happy Veteran's Day.

Very cool, thank you for your service to our Country, sir!
I was a 95Bravo in the Army, couldn't hit the the broadside of a barn with my issued 1911, it was a rattle trap...Haha. However, my M16 was like a laser guided missile in my hands.

Thank you for your service ! My parents were 4 and 5 when WWII ended. I would not exist without American Veterans.

I actually used to be anti-gun at parties and such when I came here in the 90s. My now wife corrected that: took me to my first range outing 25 years ago. Also, she helped me pick my first own gun (an M1A). ๐Ÿฅฐ

I think our 1911s were the same ones that my Dad trained with when he went through boot camp there in 1941. They were sloppy loose, but I don't remember any of them not working when you pulled the trigger. Of course, that was a long time ago, and my memory may be......uhhh...... selective.:) We were still using the M-14 when I first went in, and we qualified at 200, 300, and 500 yards. Those things were tack drivers.
