EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

My American mid-tech drawer holds my CRKs in their maker's slips along the right side and on the other are my SHFs and RHKs all in double, suede-lined, flapped leather pouches along with a number of singletons by well-known makers, one each in similar open-ended, lined slips. Those include knives by Les George, RJ Martin, Bill Koenig, Mick Strider, Gerry McGinnis, and the Brad Southard Tolk I carried for the last few days. While putting the latter away this morning I grabbed the McGinnis ProLine Valve which, like the Southard, doesn't get as much carry as such a good piece deserves.

Like the Southard, from Brad's Performance Series, the Valve comes from Gerry's mid-tech ProLine which doesn't carry the same hefty price tag as their makers' custom, individually handmade work. The RJ Martin Machine Flipper is similar as it's made by TRM but was designed by and includes some hand finishing by RJ himself. I like having knives of this ilk as they provide the chance to own something from a top maker without having to lighten one's wallet more significantly.

I recall wanting one of these for a while before finally finding this on the Exchange. Coming from a member in Alaska, I wrote upon its arrival back in 2020, "It came well packed and well-insulated inside a generously comped Ace Case, inside a padded envelope, inside a USPS SFRB. It was literally cold to the touch when I got it out, but I immediately warmed to my latest acquisition."

They can go through anything even water because of the tires. Come with everything needed for repairs just incase. The tire rims each hold 14 gallons of diesel fuel and can travel 1800 miles on a trip. A/C and heat. Awesome!!
Oh yeah, my brother-in-law runs a 10,000 acre ranch in Florida and they use a Sherp every day, 50% in water!!
