A5 Wagyu? Looks so good!
I know it’s not on topic…and I hate myself for posting it here…but it’s just so funny and on topic for the sidetrack.
Hope you enjoy.

Hey this Hawk 1435 is around 7.75” overall with a 3 3/8” blade length and comes in at 3 oz thanks to skeletonized steel liners, so smaller than an Al Mar Eagle, and closer to the Falcon model. There is a slightly smaller even slimmer version as well the 1430.That's one I wasn't familiar with, Edge, and it is reminiscent of an Al Mar UL. Nice knife. I'm always fine with those "older" steels as long as they were done right--they usually sharpen up easily to keen edges.
That blade would be how long? My Eagles (trad Cocobolo, HD, and UL) are just under 4" and the Falcon just a taste over 3. You can still find ULs out there--always a few of the "real" Al Mars at the big auction site, all overpriced, but if you keep looking you can get a nice one for 2 bills or a bit less if you're willing.

Indeed it is, bms score of 11 (12).A5 Wagyu? Looks so good!
Awesome piece of meat !
Very niceArno Bernards new button-lock, the Turaco, arrived yesterday and went straight into usage
Streamlined design, smooth action, easy to use. The iMamba nearly come across as clunky in comparison...
