Tucked away for the cold and cruel So Cal weather🤪
I kid but one of the disadvantages of living about a mile from the coast is the salt air so even in the garage I’ll cover the little girl up. She’s never seen rain in 4000 miles since she rolled off the showroom floor and over a year and a half so yes she lives a deservingly pampered life :)IMG_2718.jpeg

When BADASS and BOUJIE had a baby !!! 🔥🔥🔥

I had one of those days that kinda went backwards. I got late confirmation on my b-ball schedule changes being posted from the webmaster last night, wrote emails to the division directors and coaches involved this morning, and then to my teams so everyone was aware. I figured I was all set and could move on until I found half my club's practice schedule for this week had fallen apart. We use the local school gyms evenings for our practices and the use of the English language in an email from one apparently means something quite different than my reading of it.

Anyway, that pushed me back more than a couple hours to figure a work-around, sending several emails and texts to get it fixed and let everyone know. That took away those few, free, daylight hours I thought I had this afternoon. Soooo... no new knife pics though I had today's candidate in hand and pocket after putting away my ZT0942CF and selecting my MBK Gerry McGinnis designed Sprocket from the same drawer.

This one is sort of the poorer cousin of my McGinnis ProLine Valve which is itself the poorer cousin of Gerry's full custom line of knives. The Valve is still a fine, mid-tech knife and this one's well-made enough with decent quality materials, though it has a somewhat less refined feel than its twice-as-expensive cousin.

Here's a side-by-side of the two from the day the Sprocket arrived a number of years back plus one solo shot taken at the same time.

I'm perfectly happy to pocket and use this little guy instead of shelling out 8-10 times as much for Gerry's full custom version of the same-named model.
